Your own voice, telling you the truth twice a day

You describe the life you want as though you already have it. You record yourself reading it. Locus lays that recording over a tone built to put you in a receptive state first, and you listen every morning and every night. It is running first with a small founding cohort, ahead of general access.

The sessions themselves need nothing from you: no account, nothing uploaded, everything runs in your browser. This form is the one exception, an email held for one purpose, to tell you when the cohort opens.

The loop

1

Write it

Prompts walk you through describing your life in the present tense, as though it is already the case.

2

Read it aloud

Record yourself reading what you wrote. Your own voice does more here than a polished one would.

3

Listen, morning and night

Your recording plays over a tone that eases you into a receptive state first, then holds you there.

New to this

If the words binaural or theta mean nothing to you, that is the normal starting point. Eight plain questions and answers, no jargon left undefined.

How it works →

Sceptical

Reasonable. Two of the four mechanisms here are well supported, one is uneven, and one is routinely misattributed. The effect sizes and the caveats are all written down.

What the research says →

Do not listen while driving or operating machinery. The night session is built to put you to sleep. Not suitable if you have a seizure disorder. Locus is not a medical device and does not treat any condition.
