Binaural, two tones one per ear, needs headphones. Isochronic, one pulsing tone, works on speakers. The band names, alpha and theta and delta, are explained in plain terms. Do not listen while driving. Not suitable if you have a seizure disorder.

Mix
Live. Move these while it plays and listen. The tones should sit under the voice, not compete with it, and the noise floor should be barely noticeable until you mute it and miss it.
Your recording or generated speech.
The entrainment layer itself.
Pink noise. Stops the tones sounding clinical.
The vibration layer. Off unless you have a mat or a sub.
Keep this low. Quiet works better here.

Two different things, kept apart on purpose. The carrier is the pitch you hear. The beat is the rate underneath it, in pulses per second, that the brain is invited to follow. You cannot entrain at 528 Hz, because 528 Hz is a pitch, not a rate. The words, explained
Carrier · the pitch
Low and unfatiguing over a long session. The default here.
Beat · the rate
Choosing a beat here holds it flat for the whole session. Tap it again to unset it and use the envelope, which descends and exits instead.
Body layer · vibration mats and subwoofers
A binaural beat contains no actual energy at the beat rate; it is built inside your head. This sends the real thing to your body instead, if you have hardware that can reproduce it.
